Rori is a Student Intern. She is studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Webster University and anticipates graduating in the spring of 2022 with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling. However, she is not new to the counseling field. Rori has provided Rehabilitation and Behavioral Health Services as an independent contractor in Horry County for over four years. She has worked with children as young as six years old and adults into their sixties. She is open to working with any population and age group. She prides herself in finding unique therapeutic treatment for each of her clients so that they can get back to themselves and find peace and healing within their lives. She takes a direct person-centered approach that allows her to get to know the client’s needs and utilizes client’s abilities to meet their specific needs at their own level. She enjoys using holistic practices such as exercise and meditation. She has worked with clients on their physical ailments to help them reduce physical pain by providing case management. She has worked with clients with learning disabilities; depression and anxiety; and more severe mental health and behavioral problems. She has assisted clients dealing with the housing authority, department of social services, foster care, guardians ad litem, schools, daycares, doctors, psychiatrists, and other private and government agencies. Her goal is to be an instrument of hope and healing.
