At Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center, we understand that life can be difficult and get out of balance; that times of transition can be overwhelming; and that most people face unexpected challenges from time to time. We offer comprehensive counseling services. Our clients are individuals of all ages; couples; families; and groups. We realize that no two people are the same; therefore, we tailor our services to each client.
Our counselors are professionally trained, experienced, and licensed as professional counselors; clinical social workers; addiction counselors; and/or marriage and family therapists. We are competent and specialized in areas such as depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, grief/loss, trauma, crisis/adjustment, anger, self-esteem, marital conflict, parenting, autism, and many others.
The counseling process begins with an intake process in which clients’ needs and difficulties are evaluated, and a treatment plan is designed through counselor-client collaboration. The counseling relationship is a safe, confidential space where clients are heard, accepted, respected, empowered, supported, and guided to reach their goals. Our counselors recommend therapeutic approaches to fit clients’ needs, goals, and preferences. Examples include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy; Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychodynamic Therapy, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. We are fully HIPAA compliant.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.

$160.00 Initial Session
$140 per recurring 50-minute Sessions
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
In addition to accepting most insurance plans, the center offers an adjusted fee schedule for people who are uninsured on a case-by-case basis so that an affordable plan can be reached.
