I am a LISW-CP originally from Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and worked in PA for the last 15 years. I decided to move to South Carolina to continue my journey. I believe I was called to be a therapist and pride myself in giving my all to the profession and clients. I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, my tortoise, and exploring the beach. Utilizing the power of the therapeutic relationship, I strive to create a nurturing environment and foundation to help clients heal, rebuild their lives, and increase their resiliency. I begin where the client is and with the strengths they already possess as I guide clients to pay attention to not only their thoughts and emotions but also what shows up in their body. I pull from a variety of therapeutic tools to best serve each individual client and/or family. Modalities that I incorporate include: creative and expressive therapies, play therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My areas of interest include trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and attachment issues.
